Having an extensive experience and focus on criminal litigation, MADKOUR LAW
FIRM have faced major obstacles and problems while defending multiple
cases due to the lack of development and amendments of many legislations
regarding the Penal Law and the Penal Procedures.
Additionally, since MADKOUR LAW FIRM has been appointed as the
representative of the International Prison Watch Association in Lebanon, many
issues became a priority in order to keep up to the difficult challenges and
find the best remedies.
Consequently, MADKOUR LAW FIRM has felt the urgent need to have a
leading role in the Penal Field while contributing into initiating, encouraging
and urging the introduction of new systems and regulations.
This is how the LEBANESE PENAL LAW ASSOCIATION was born.
The LEBANESE PENAL LAW ASSOCIATION is an association open to all those
which, in the various countries, are devoted to the study and the application
of the criminal law and endeavor to contribute to the progress of the
legislation and the institutions ensuring a justice increasingly more human and
more effective.
Our Team, together with the concerned authorities and organizations, Lebanese
and foreign, will be working with enthusiasm to achieve our goals.
While our country is going through a rough time, we lifted the Challenge and we
believed in our capacity to make our Legal System a better one and our Justice
a more human and effective one.
Fully aware of the need to enlarge our team, we count on the continuous support
and cooperation of each person and organization willing to contribute with us
in order to reach our targets and objectives, always welcoming opinions and
suggestions helping us in our projects.
At last, allow me to invite you to join the activities of our Lebanese
Association of Penal Law. A very special welcome to the law students. The
Association is also eager to accommodate you and to ensure your participation.
